¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ is a registered member of the Armed Forces Covenant
We are delighted to announce that ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ is now a registered member of the Armed Forces Covenant. The ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ commits to support the Armed Forces Community and uphold the values set out in the covenant. We will support Remembrance Day, Armed Forces Day, and the Poppy Appeal, and take part in local community outreach initiatives to support the Royal British Legion and attend parades with our CCF.
¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ is proud of its long association with military families. We currently have over 160 pupils from HM Forces and the FCO, from all ranks and military disciplines, across the Prep and Senior ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵs. These families pay just 10% of boarding fees, with the full CEA entitlement.
The ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ provides continuity of education from Pre-Prep to the end of Sixth Form. Most military Boarders join Page House, our Prep ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ Boarding House for boys and girls aged 7 to 13, but pupils can join at any age across the Prep and Senior ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵs.
We are sensitive to the desire of Forces parents to keep families together and siblings will automatically go into the same House as their brothers and sisters, but when not in the same House they are welcome to visit each other during free time and older siblings can visit the Prep Boarding House as well. ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ staff make every effort to accommodate the needs of serving parents to spend time with their children during their leave, and they remain in regular contact during term time.
There are no exeats at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, meaning all boarders stay at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ for the full academic year, taking part in activities and trips during weekends including cultural visits to London, theme park visits, academic extension and much more. ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ is very well situated to access many open spaces and interesting historical and cultural destinations. During the holidays, the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ offers a 'Guardian Angels' service to offer accommodation to children who are unable to return home. This means that pupils remain in a comfortable and familiar environment, and experience minimal disruption and travel.
We value our rich history of supporting forces' families at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ and look forward to continuing that relationship with new prospective parents in the future.
